Dominic was born in Sansego, Italy. At the age of fourteen, he joined the Italian Merchant Marines. After 4 years of service, he came to America. Family, gillnetting on his boat the "Mitchie Boy", soccer, hockey, making his own wine, his garden and socializing with his countless friends throughout the years were his passions in life. He retired from ILWU Local 19 and retired from gillnetting many years later.

A loyal, honest, hard-working, energetic and fun-loving dad and grandfather, he is survived by his daughter, Janice, sons, Jim (Janet) and Dominic (Prescilla). Grandpa to Dominic, Jimmy (Kelli), Gina, Krista (Colin), Jeff (Amy). Great Grandpa to Devan, Ryan, Tori, Taylor, Jacob, Jimmy, Dominic, Addison, Sylas, and Damian.
