Peter Kolloen
1940 - 2020

"Pete"

Peter Kolloen, a longshoreman with Port of Seattle and member of ILWU, lifelong residence of Seattle passed away December 18th 2020 at the age 80 in hospice; inflicted with aggressive leukemia, while suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He is survived by his two sons Erik Kolloen and Reed Kolloen's family residing in Australia, Daughter in Law Caroline Kolloen, grandson Kenny Kolloen, granddaughter Alexandra Kolloen, great grandson Cooper Mallard.

Peter was born in Seattle, WA on May 18th 1940 to Erling and an Muriel Kolloen. Peter graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle and attended the University of Washington. He happily married Janice June Scheuerman on March 20th 1965

Peter was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed woodworking in his garage shop. He was an avid mountaineer and enjoyed hiking the Washington State Cascade Mountains. He ascended Mt. Rainier at the Age of 18. After his retirement he became active in the Seattle dance community. Later in life he took an interest in fashioning silver jewelry and the art of drawing.
