Daniel "Danny" Nello CASO Born in Seattle on Feb. 19, 1952, Danny passed away suddenly on April 20, 2003. He was a Longshoreman for many years on the Seattle waterfront. An avid golfer who learned to play at a young age and never lost his love of the game.

In 1969 he won the All Metro Championship at Jefferson Park. He graduated from Franklin High School and attended the University of Houston on a golf scholarship. He loved to cook, garden, watch sports and cartoons, loved animals and always had a great story to tell. He was a caring and loving person both to his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Nina; step-daughter, Gina Hammond; step-sons, Jeffrey Taylor and Dominic (& Kerma) Taylor; granddaughter, Tori; grandsons, Devan, Ryan, and Jacob; parents, Peter and Harriet Caso; parents-in-law, Dominic and Jennie Picinich; sisters, Gretchen (& Lynn) Folsom and Janina (& Gary) Madden; and brothers-in-law, Jim (& Janet) Picinich and Dominic (& Prescilla) Picinich.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 28, at 10 a.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4139 42nd Ave. S.W. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 107 Cherry Street, Suite 305, Seattle, WA. 98104.
