keeping us informed through the RUSTY HOOK about events that affect us
all: Pensioners and Survivors. I am enclosing a check for the
"Fighting Fund."
I remember my
Father-in-law, LEE M. KOVER, Local 47 retiree talking about the Survivors
Benefit program to go Into place July 1st, 1965. He was so pleased to know
that his wife would be receiving a portion of his pension upon his death.
He passed away very suddenly July 2, 1965. Now 38 years later I find
myself a Survivor and truly grateful to all those Union members who made
this program possible.
