Fall 2003
From JERRY TYLER, Everett. WA.
"Enclosed
my check for $150.00 covering my contribution for the month of February,
March and April to the strike fund. You said that this money would be
returned if unused.
I protest. For
my money to that fund should have been left alone, added to and drawing
interest. By now we would have had a formidable strike fund. At one time
we did have a strike fund among our ranks. However, there were many greedy
people who wanted that money refunded. The HOOK, at that time, dubbed this
the "Little Lump." In my opinion, the refund was short-sighted.
The money went down the tube, and we still had bills to pay.
I urge our PCPA
officials to take steps so that we will always have a strike fund."
JERRY TYLER
Thanks, JERRY. Your proposal is well put.
From DAN SORENTINO, Everett, WA.
Dan sends us $50.00 for the RUSTY HOOK and $50.00 for the general fund.
Many thanks, DAN.
LOUIS EVANCICH, Seattle, WA. A short note:
" 2 years dues and assessments and $35.00 for the HOOK"
Thank you, LOUIS.
