Fall 2003
Our correspondence has grown enormously for this
issue. That's partly because we are catching up on some previous letters that
were pigeonholed somewhere in our Secretary's desk and didn't see the light of
day till this issue. We are sorry for the mix-up, but we'll strive to do better.
We are glad to get
your letters. If we have missed one of your letters, please send a copy, or
another letter and we will make sure it gets in the RUSTY HOOK. Or, if we are
printing one of yours twice, no extra charge!
Our members and
friends like to hear from Old Timers and others. So, no matter what you have to
say take a pen to paper and send your thoughts in, even if you have criticism.
So here goes:
From RICHARD E. ANDERSON, Tokeland, WA.
Brother ANDERSON donates his $250.00 strike fund money.
Thanks, RICHARD. You help a lot.
From ROBERT B. COLLEN, Seattle, WA.
In response to the ILWU Pacific Coast Pensioners Association Executive Board
that all members donate $50.00 a month - sounds good.
Brother COLLEN sends in $100.00 dollars.
Thank you, ROBERT.
From JOHN L. FERN, Quincy, WA.
"Terry,
$10.00 for the RUSTY HOOK and $40.00 for the strike and lockout fund. Keep up
the good work, guys."
Thanks, JOHN.
From WILFRED KOVER, Olympia, WA.
$50.00 - no message except green.
Thank you, WILFRED.
From W.P. LEWIS, Shoreline, WA.
No note but 100 green ones. Expressions of gratitude from us, BILL!
