Lenzie John SHELLMAN 1-29-1923 ~ 6-2-2009 Lenzie passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home June 2, 2009. He was 86 years old. He was born in Biloxi , Mississippi on January 29, 1923. He entered the Navy in 1943 and served for 3 years. 

He was a proud member of the International Longshoreman Warehouse Union (local 19) working the Seattle docks as a longshoreman and foreman for 38 years. He retired in 1991 then perused traveling with his wife Betty. Since her death, Lenzie has enjoyed swimming at the Rainier Beach pool, visiting the ILWU hall, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons, John (Sherry), and Tony (Nichole), as well as grandchildren, Karena, Jenna, and Derek.
