Grant B. Myers, Jr.
1918-2009

Grant Burrows MYERS, Jr. Grant Myers, Jr. was born in Seattle, WA on January 26, 1918. He died on June 12, 2009 after being hit by a car. Grant was a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He drove ambulances during World War II in North Africa.

After the war, he drove for and was a Vice President of Operations for Evergreen and Trailways Bus Companies. Grant ended his work career as the Area Claims Adjustor and an accident investigator for the Seattle and Tacoma Locals of the Longshoreman and Warehouseman's Union. Grant next began traveling to various parts of the world: China, Australia, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, and 48 trips to Hawaii.

Grant is survived by ex-wife Margaret Doreen Myers; 4 step-daughters, Melody, Peggy, Mary Jane, Theresa; son Patrick; and family friends Tania and Rama. There will be no services at Grant's request. He has been cremated and placed in the family plot at Lake View Cemetery on Capitol Hill.
