L. Maurice 1920 - 2011
Warren
left us after 90+ years on Sept 28, 2011. Born in
Annandale
,
MN
on Nov 16, 1920. Warren served as a bombardier in the US Army Air Corps,
met his wife, June, in New York & moved to the west coast locating
in Seattle where he raised a family of seven & spent his years
working at the various ports of Washington as a longshoreman (local 19),
stevedore & retiring as supercargo (local 52).
Preceded in death by his brothers,
Basil, Neil & David; and his children, Warren C. Maurice, Patricia
Gordon & Kevin Maurice.
Warren
is survived by his brothers, Kenneth & Paul; sisters, Dorothy &
Jean; wife of 66 years, June; children, Gregory (Sue) of
Seward
,
AK
, Renee (Tracy) & Erin of Seattle and Stephen (Gail) of Woodinville.
He also leaves grandchildren, Maura Chase, Stacie Mattens, Christopher
& Justin Maurice, John T. Shingara, Tiffany Moglia, Stephen James
& Nicholas Maurice; & great-grandchildren, Jessica Shingara,
Eric & Emily Moglia, Lily & Abigail Mattens & Emma Maurice.
He will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you for being there for us as husband, father, grand-father &
friend. We will miss your easy smile & charming self. Recitation of
the Rosary will be Tuesday, October 4, at 7:00PM at Hoffner Fisher &
Harvey Chapel
