Chris MALLOS Chris ("Papou") Mallos, 78, of Chandler, AZ died Mon. Dec. 27, 2004 in Chandler Regional Hospital. A native of Seattle, WA, he was a seasonal resident of Chandler for the past 10 years. Chris's parents Michael Chris Mallos and Theone Bombe were from the Peloponese in Greece.

Chris worked as a longshoreman and union leader prior to retirement. He served as President and legislative consultant for District Council of the International Longshoreman and Warehouseman's Union (I.L.W.U.).

Chris traveled the world uniting dockworkers and international relations. Chris was proud of his Greek heritage. He was known as "Papou" to his grandchildren and others.

A long standing member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Assumption. His love for the Church and his Greek heritage will live on forever in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, loving children Christine, Penelope, Michael (Leanne), Mary (Jim) Morrison. Grandchildren Laura, James, Nick, Kailee, Alexis, Emily. Sisters Bessie Mallos and Mary (Harold) Lindjord. Brother Steve (Sophia), brother-in-law Howard Conom, 9 nieces and nephews.
