"Joe"

Joseph A. "Joe" ALISEO Passed away April 19, 2007 as a result of a work-related accident. Born Sept. 15, 1964, Joe spent most of his growing years in Philadelphia, PA and Roslyn, WA Pride in his Scottish-Italian heritage was most evident is his spirituality and his love of good food and family traditions.

Always adventurous, Joe's interests and skills led him down several paths, from paintball and bartending to Microsoft, before he found his calling as a longshoreman. He had been working on the docks since 2002 when he received his 'B' registration into longshore Local 19 in May 2005. Whatever he was doing, his ready laugh and quick wit earned him countless friends.

He was a loving and loveable son, partner and father. He will be missed but is secure in our hearts. Joe is survived by his mother, Janet Aliseo, Roslyn; father, Joseph A. Aliseo, Sr., Philadelphia; grandmother, Mildred Johnson, Ellensburg; life partner, Kym Tennessen and sons, Aydin Aliseo, Hawken Downs and Ryon Downs, Mountlake Terrace; sister, Laura (Neil) Gutenberg, North Bend; Aunts and Uncles, Ruth Masteller, Mary (Ed) James, Wapato; Kathleen Blinebury, Philadelphia; Will (Cindy) Johnson, Ellensburg; nephews and niece, Josh, Ben and Cara Gutenberg; and cousins, Kirsten James, Jim Blinebury and Catina (Russ) Simmons, Julie (Michael) Garcia.

He was preceded in death by brother, David Aliseo, and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center, 719 E 3rd St., Cle Elum, WA 98922.
